My life in Camerons tends to be simple and uncomplicated..One of the few things that I embraced here to improve the quality of my life was taking up YOGA…Practising Sivananda yoga has given me a sense of feeling complete and in harmony with myself and my surroundings…Besides feeling centred it has helped to synchronise the mind body and soul..
When I see my friends in KL and other big metropolitan cities around the globe..I realize in comparison my life in the Highlands is very quiet, and it has taken a while to get used to a life in silence..BUT is only then we have time for introspection and getting connected with our innerselves. Practising Sivananda yoga which is a combination of both pranayama and asanas helps us to do just that..Yoga has worked wonders for me. While Pranayama has brought awareness to the breath and helped to quieten the mind the asanas harmonise the movement with the breath…

My yoga teacher is June .She is an ex banker who trained in India with advanced teaching diplomas in yoga…Married to a local organic farmer Cheah Wai Hoi,his venture is called Go Green Organic …Besides being a yoga teacher she also helps her husband in his organic farming venture..
